Cornell University Reunion Buyback June 8, 2024

Lot 1 Vintage will be set up on the lower level of the Ho Plaza Cornell Store on Saturday, June 8, from 9 AM to 12PM, to meet alumni and buy back vintage Cornell apparel. Cash will be offered on the spot. Clothing collected at this event will be recirculated to current students at the Lot 1 Vintage x Cornell Store pop-up sale in Fall '24.

Lot 1 Vintage x University

We at Lot 1 Vintage collaborate with several local college and university bookstores to offer quality vintage apparel directly to active students. This gives alumni the opportunity to hand down their well-loved collegiate clothing to a new generation of scholars, to be recycled and loved again. Currently we work with bookstores from:

  • Syracuse University
  • Cornell University

We are seeking collegiate clothing that was originally purchased/produced prior to 2003. Regardless of condition it may deserve a new home; tears, fraying, paint blots, or even heavy wear are still acceptable! We are looking for:

  • sweatshirts
  • t-shirts
  • jackets
  • sweaters
  • hats

Bring in your old gear for appraisal to Lot 1 Vintage at 79 Main Street Cortland, NY, Tuesdays-Saturdays from 11:30-6. No appointment is needed, but feel free to contact us ahead of time if you have any questions.

When we determine your item(s) is salable, you will receive 40% of the projected sale price in cash in exchange.

If you live outside the area but still wish to offer your items for recirculation, arrangements for appraisal and shipping can be communicated through email: (Virtual payment can be arranged for shipped items.)

Offering students pre-owned collegiate gear provides new homes to items that were no longer being used, therefore decreasing the demand for new textile production while still satisfying the need to sport school pride.

If you are located in the Finger Lakes or Central New York region and have other vintage apparel that needs a new home, we buy a variety of clothing items at our Cortland store. Click here for a full list of accepted items.
